These first stage titanium alloy compressor blades from a Pratt & Whitney JT8D engine would have once powered a Boeing 727 or 737. Rescued from scrap, we have polished these approximately 14 inch high blades to a mirror finish. They are mounted on lightly oiled, reclaimed mahogany bases and weigh around 1.5kg.
