Manufacturer Serial Number 28854, G-CIVZ first flew on 22nd October 1998 and was delivered to her London Heathrow base a week later on 31st, in the Benyhone World Images livery.

She was the last of the BA 747 fleet to be resprayed in December 2019 in the One World/Union Flag livery. She operated her final revenue flight, as BAW193 to Dallas Fort Worth on 8th February 2020, with her return leg delayed by 24 hours due to traffic delays in the wake of Storm Ciara.

Initially placed in storage at Heathrow, she positioned to Cardiff on 17th March before making her final flight as BA9178 to Newquay for scrapping on 18th October as BA9179.

She was scrapped in December 2020, having flown over 91 000 hours.

Prior to her demolition, several window sections of fuselage skin were removed from the port and starboard rear fuselage. These were acquired by Aerotiques Ltd. to produce a limited edition range of wall art, clocks and other unique items that will ensure this ‘Queen of the Skies’ will live on beyond her retirement.

The original outer window panes, complete with wear and tear, evident in the pictures have been laser etched with the airframe details.

A silent sweep, battery-powered, zero jewel clock mechanism is fitted, along with a brass hanging point, which will attach your 7kg acquisition to the wall. Size approximately 33 x 17”.
